9mm caliber cartridges are the world's best-selling centerfire ammunition for short firearms. Its global sales volume is over 5 billion units per year.
The 9x19mm cartridge was designed in Germany by modifying the 7.65mm cartridge for the Luger P.08 pistol, which was also patented by the German designer Georg Luger in 1898. Since then, it has been produced practically without major dimensional and design changes.
We produce 9mm cartridges in civilian, police and military versions.
Civilian cartridges, which we designate SCORPIO 9mm Luger, are manufactured and tested so that its parameters comply with the conditions of the international agreement C.I.P.
Cartridges for military use, which we designate SCORPIO 9x19mm NATO, we produce and test to meet the relevant NATO standard - STANAG 4090 and complete tests according to the AEP-97 M-CMOPI regulation.
We produce cartridges in calibre 9mm on state-of-the-art machinery using the highest quality input materials. We perform cartridge tests in our laboratories and ballistic testing laboratory.
