Martin Vais: A weapons expert with a passion for precision shooting
Martin Vais, a weapons expert with over a decade of experience in shooting, tactics, and military training, combines his passion for precision shooting with professional experience in weapons manufacturing and repair.
His journey into shooting and military subjects began more than 10 years ago at airsoft camps and similar events. Since then, he has participated in many specialized exercises focused on weapon handling, tactics, terrain movement and survival in nature, often in cooperation with members of the Czech Army and the Czech Police.
He is a member of the MPS z.s. association, which has been organizing some of the most famous military-oriented children's camps since 2014, where he actively helps as a staff member. At these events, he passes on valuable experience and advice to the younger generation regarding safe weapon handling and other skills.
He is also a member of the sports shooting club in Polička, where he constantly tries to improve and prepare for competitions, although the absence of his own club shooting range poses a certain challenge. His passion for weapons led him to study at the COPt Secondary School in Uherský Brod, which has a long tradition in teaching rifle disciplines and closely cooperates with the Czech Arms Factory. There he graduated as a Gunsmith Technician and obtained a firearms license. Internship at school and at the Czech Arms Factory, as well as subsequent work at the Gunner weapons and ammunition store in Svitavy, helped him gain additional experience and expand his network of contacts in the field.
At the end of his studies, he got a job opportunity at the STV Group, where he worked in a workshop for the production and repair of small arms firearms. He then accepted an offer for a ballistics position at the STV Technology company, where he still works today. He is currently trying to constantly improve his shooting skills with the help of his more experienced colleagues.
His goal is not only to further develop his skills, but also to pass on his knowledge to future generations and contribute to the promotion of a safe and responsible approach to weapons.
